From TechCrunch: Venture Capitalists Fight Back Against The Funded

There’s almost nothing else to say here.  Had The Unfunded been funded by some wily entrepreneur looking for page views that would be one thing.  However, given the quote from Arrington that the site was created by a VC further exacerbates the image of VCs being douche bags.

Is your ego so fragile that you cannot console yourself about some comment on The Funded?  Surely, driving in your M5 down Sand Hill Road to the Starbucks to grab you latte right before jetting off to the airport to catch your flight to Davos makes you feel better?  Perhaps the super large house in Atherton?  The Craigslist hooker you keep on the side?  Maybe the simple joy of your 2x participating preferred security at single digit pre-money, full ratchet anti-dilution, and redemption rights?  Some of that has to make you feel better about the fact that some anonymous person on the Internet made a comment about you being a douche.  If not, I suggest you never play XBox or visit a Usenet forum.

We here at RealityCrunch feel better when see our daily page view numbers go up one at a time, but that’s just us.
