Scoble Says Web2.0 Just Like High School!
From TechCrunch: Live From Next Web 2008
In his discussion today on stage at the Next Web, Robert Scoble discussed the new digital divide. The discussion centered around the notion that the new online experience is made better the more friends you have. The more friends you have, the more connected you feel, and the more access to information you have.
The stunning revelation came when he asserted: “If you don’t have any friends, the experience really sucks.” Welcome back to high school folks. A discussion later in the day will be a Facebook app that allows you to give digital wedgies.
