Are We Irrelevant^2?
I don’t want to believe we are irrelevant, but if you are commenting on, and occasionally mocking irrelevant sites, are you more or less irrelevant?

As you can tell from the graph below the readership of techcrunch peaked late 2006 while mashable peaked middle 2007. The interesting part is they are both declining at a consistent rate since middle 2007. Maybe that explains the recent uptick in BSP Site Whore Scoble Dr.Phil moments.
If the rumors are to be believed it seems like $15 million on $35 million valuation might be a bad investment if your readership (gots to sell dem ads fool) is going down. Hey, but what do I know? I’m no ZocDoc
