To be clear, you can make your own mix tape, in the era of digital media, all you can eat music subscription plans, and bit torrernt.  Your. Own. Mix. Tape.  And we’re talking about it like it’s some great social music experiment.  Never mind the fact that the product is still on the drawing board.  Oh right, and the pesky issue of the music being copyrighted.  Users can create their own videos of cats playing the piano, but comparing Chocolate Rain to Purple Rain is something of a dis that I can’t condone.  Mixwit’s entire content base will be tied to material not owned by the site members, which makes for a dicey proposition at best.
