Alarm! Bums 2.0 Have Moved Onto the Intertubes!

If I get this right, SmartyPig is an online “social” savings plan. This has to go down as one of biggest title stretches of all time. Let’s just call it what it is Kristen Nicole… Social Begging. I put this on par with applications like the Social Alarm Clock. Makes me think of Sleep.fm and all of the ridiculous fun we had at TechCrunch40 last year. I’m going to create an account right now and begin begging today! I can just imagine how many people are going to go out and give me gift cards because I’m so awesome.

I can’t wait for the Facebook apps for this… “Who am I kidding, I just want a beer!”

Has society sunk to this? Go get a job.
